PP hair loss

Hi all, I’ve started loosing quite a bit of hair when showering, brushing etc. I’ve noticed it’s going at the sides which I’ve read is really common and basically by time baby is 1 years your hair should be back to normal (which feels so far away from now 😫). Is anyone suffering the same or has any advice to help manage it in any way. Thanks!

I was loosing thick clumps more so when washing. I swore I was going to go bald but seems to have calmed down a bit. I did however just get quite a bit of hair cut off which seems to have helped.

I'm in the same boat! Scary! 🙈No advice though but curious to see what other mummas say!

My hairdresser told me biotin supplements and massage rosemary oil into your scalp and leave on for a few hours once a week x

Same. I’ve just started using a scalp hair regrowth oil Ive heard can help https://www.champohaircare.com/products/growth-serum#

I thought I’d got lucky, but I brushed my hair slick back and I’m receding like a problematic 30 year old single man 😭😭😭😭😭

@Sophie I started using this daily 3 weeks ago and can confirm my hair is falling out WAY less since using it. I was losing huge clumps in the shower and every time I brushed my hair. Now I lose maybe 10-15 strands per wash. I’m still losing more hair than I was pre baby but it’s definitely calmed down since using this scalp serum. Would highly recommend to anyone else going through PP hair loss!!

I think it's definitely common. I heard it's just because you didn't lose any hair during pregnancy so it's just the hair you would have naturally lost in that time? Is what I keep telling myself 😅

I'm in the same boat. And my hair now looks so thin, I've always had thick hair. It's also making me self-conscious and not wanting to go out in public. I'm always making sure my thin areas are covered by something. I've been using shampoos and vitamins but can't say there has been any difference. 😔
