Yeah i’m not going to push, were going through his mum with seeing our daughter as things got bad, and ive asked his mum if he wants to if they could let me know , it would be amazing as the baby won’t be staying there for a long time either after she’s born, such a hard thinv trying to sort co parenting ! Xx
Perhaps write a registry list of all things you need, Amazon is really good for it though doesn't strictly have to come of that, I've used it anyway and sent everyone the list. Delete as I go and people can spend as much/little as they want. Found going to nearly new mum sales, charity shops, marketplace and eBay has been best for myself. Other than that, I suggested a gift card, where people could top up like a love to shop and go from there. Charity shops have been good for a lot of things though they grow out so quick - finding bargain buckets £2 and under full of baby grows, clothes, socks, blankets etc. I've really only got the car seat and bottles new, whereas rest has been discounted in some way. I am quite lucky, i’m a proper deal finder , love a charity shop or facebook marketplace, so will try my best to make things on the cheap ! Always hard to start off i guess, but will work out in the end with or without his help xx
Yeah course! Though I haven't pushed mine to do so - I'm way waay waay too lenient from what I'm realising. Perhaps work it out how much what child maintenance would be right now and ask if he could put that towards into a separate account and both of you can access it, for the baby stuff working through a list perhaps. Or asking him things like, hey I'm getting these things... Would you be able to put some towards? Or would you be able to get this for baby? Go from there see what the response is. X
