@Hannah preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction x
Hey I will be induced or C-section at 38 weeks
GDiabeties related
I was induced with my first at 37weeks for fetal growth restriction x
A friend of mine had her baby boy at 36 weeks her waters broke at home , and her baby was fine and didn’t need neonatal care . Xx
@Helen oh wow, do you know what he weighed at birth?x
@chloe there is no evidence to support induction for GD improves outcomes during labour or after. Make sure it's your choice and not theirs if you go ahead
@Hannah thank you but I would prefer not to have to push out a bigger baby if I don't have to/ or wait full term and then have problems... personally leaning towards c-section.
I wasn’t induced but did go into labour spontaneously with my second at 36 weeks he was born with no complications at 7lb 9oz x
The plan had been to get me to 36 weeks and then induce due to IVF pregnancy, fetal growth restriction and high risk of pre-eclampsia among other things! But by body had other ideas and i developed HELLP syndrome and had to have an emergency c-section at 32+2. Baby is doing amazingly in neonatal despite only being 2lb5oz and so early

Can I ask why someone might be induced this early?🫶🏼
