Is Better Help therapy worth it?

I’ve been thinking of joining/ using the Better help therapy services. Since becoming a mama some childhood trauma has risen to the surface, not really effecting me in every day life but just seeing things differently now I’m a parent myself, and just wondering if anyone has used it. It says it can cost between £45-£70, billed every 4 weeks so even at the lowest cost at £45 a week it would be costing £180+ a month. Trying to heal my inner child and wanting advice on how to do that but not wanting to spend a fortune if it’s not really worth it/ not really sure what I want to be getting out of it. I appreciate your mental health is worth investing in but it’s not effecting my daily life or more importantly my kids and that it is significantly lower fees that a traditional “in office” therapist. Just interested in peoples experiences with it.

The cost of therapy is stopping me as well. I'm contemplating signing up today also I've almost pulled the plug a million times. I'll follow for answers, mine is a bit worse as I cry pretty much daily and struggle so much but dang I literally can't afford it.

Ehhhhhhhh ive steered clear from better help, I’ve heard very mixed reviews from those who’ve used it on the patient / client end, and most all my personal friends in the mental health care field refuse to work with better help due to their previous hippa violations (sharing/selling costumer data) & lack of fair pay to their therapists they employ. Not sure if it’s any different outside the us tho!

@Lara I’m so sorry that you’re going through this! I would 100% talk to somebody if you’re feeling this way! Wether that’s a doctor, friend or therapist (but I know they can be expensive). I hope you can start healing from whatever has scarred you💖

@Parker 又 thank you so much for your advice! I might research and look up another service instead!
