Good to check and get all the info from the consultant but there’s technically no limit to number of c sections you can have but risk does increase with each one for things like placenta previa or placenta accreta. I’m not sure on the likeliness of them recommending a VBAC after three c sections
I've had 4 c sections and 2 of which one was June 2023 & then July 24 zx
It depends on the person and the doctor. I asked my OB about having a 4th c section and she said it was possible but it depends on what happens with my 3rd. My OB doesn’t do VBAC’s after 2 c sections for insurance reasons but they could recommend a doctor that does them. So it could be possible to find an OB that does a natural birth after 3 c sections.
Best to ask your doctor and if they can’t do it ask if they can refer you to someone that can.
It’s possible to have more than 3 csections. But it’s too late to have a vaginal birth at this point. A VBAC is best after 1 C-section and rarely after 2. No OBGYN would approve for a VBAC after 3csections. But determining if you can have more than 3 C-section is on a case by case basis and only your OB can tell you that based on your history and past surgical notes plus how your uterus is now currently
First we’re all strong mothers but Yall who had 4 Csections are super strong mothers lol I had 3 and that last one was the first time I ever experienced bm issues the first day after and one time being home because I wasn’t informed that the medicine had to be taken with stool softener and that’s when I knew I wasn’t young anymore 😂😂
A part of me wants another baby but the other part doesn’t and don’t want to start over and scared of having another child section but I don’t wanna ever have to get an abortion or do adoption I don’t shame ones who do I just personally don’t think I can handle it
I just had my 4th c-section a week ago and it went great. I think you would have an easier time finding a provider to support a 4th c-section than a vbac following 3 c-sections. With that said there are tons of risks (like accreta) with repeat c-section pregnancies. It didn’t happen with me but you should know the risks before you proceed.
