Following. My self confidence has plummeted so much, I’m only 21 and I hate my body so much now

I think what really helped me most is calorie deficit diet. I didn’t intentionally doing it but after talking to my brother last week that’s essentially what I was doing. I also didn’t want to lose weight and then have giggly/lose skin which is why I do machines at the gym. I wanted to tone the weight I was losing. Mostly, I wanted to be able to pick my daughter up and not hurt. 😂
15 years and I still have it. Even when I got skinny in between kids again I still had it. Even when I was going to the gym. I have a four year old and still have a bunch of weight to lose again.
Almost 7 months Pp now and it has most certainly gone down. Do you mean the little bit above the scar line? I think above that is more stomach (?) but my pouch has 💯shrunk.
7 months PP and pouch has gone down significantly. Diet is key:as said you need to be in a calorie deficit and reduce your portion.Eat proteins and veggies and avoid snacking especially in the evening. Going to the gym will only accelerate the process of you losing weight and your pouch reducing. Cardio is really good so try walking,running,spin but as you’re only 4.5 months pp wait until your 6 weeks check up to get clearance from your doctor.You will need to start slowly so no doing sits ups,planks or HIIT right away.
@Lucy amazing results!! . I fear I am not as disciplined as you are though. I have just started workouts once a week. I have a dog so walk Daily. I think my main issue is diet 😩
@Hayley yes above scar and to be honest my whole stomach is larger than I would like. What did you do to reduce and how long did it take ?
@Joanna yes got clearance. Don't feel as robust as I did before though. So trying gentle exercise.
@Remi Grace It wasn’t easy to get here. I hated working out but then overtime it just became a habit and part of my routine. Be patient with yourself. Give yourself grace and time. Ya got start somewhere and it looks like you have and that’s something to be proud of! You’ve taken the first step. Baby steps! You got this!
@Remi Grace oh I’m still massively overweight. I put on close to 4 stone 😖plus I was heavier when I fell pregnant so o want to lose at least 2 more stone. I’ve lost 2stone2lb so far but she’s 7 months on Saturday. I had a planned section so didn’t push myself after the Op. I have slightly reduced my calories but I still eat cakes sweets crisps etc 🫣 I walk a little I jog a little I do kettle bell a little Haven’t overly exerted myself in anything > no time or energy 🫣
@Lucy well Done to staying committed though! And thank you !! X

@Hayley well done for the weight loss so far!
@Remi Grace 🤎
8 months pp and still there. It's improving a lot with diet and core breathing, hope to eventually start exercising again to shrink it.
Following. I'm in the same boat as you. Mine seems to have gone down more on one side than the other too!
