How and when to start recovering core muscles?

Hey mamas, I know a lot of women like to heal their core muscles after birth before slowly getting into workouts eventually. But how does this look for csection cases? I’m 4weeks almost post emergency csection and wondering when to safely start healing my core and how to do it! I imagine past 6week check? No idea! Any good pages on instagram or anything to help with these exercises? Would appreciate suggestions! Thanks:)

I’m 8 weeks pp after a C-section, I just started walking as much as I could outside to begin with and just do small exercises at home without weights like squats. I have also been told swimming is meant to be good

I got cleared at 6 weeks pp to start exercising and joined some mummy and baby yoga classes which were amazing for engaging my core and pelvic muscles. At 8 weeks I got back into running. Walking is great though to start, I walked every day from date of discharge and by 6 weeks was doing my usual step count.

I got cleared at 6 weeks pp for exercise but I started walking and doing light at home work out before that. Short walks as soon as I got home. Definitely invest in core/pelvic floor therapy it helps me a lot.
