Gallstones

I gave birth to my beautiful little girl September 20th 2024 at 12:37pm and I couldn't find myself any luckier than I am having her. The only problem is I have gallstones and developed them during pregnancy, having my first flare up 13th July. I had about 14 more flareups since then. When I have a flareup I can't look after my daughter properly, I am grateful my partner is there but I can't go to hospital for them because he works. Tonight I managed to go because we had to ask his mum to look after my beautiful little girl but she was crying the whole time I had my flareup. It's a mothers job to comfort their little one, let them feel okay, make them happy and show them love but when I have a flareup I lose all control of my emotions and make my partner feel like shit and it's not like I intentionally ignore my daughters crys but I can't respond to them or else I'll hurt her from the flare up.

Congrats! I suspect I have issues too. What are your symptoms or what do your flare ups feel like?

Have you spoken to anyone yet about getting your gallbladder removed?

@Angela waiting for an MRI then I should be getting it out, ive had 5 flare ups in a month

@Scarlett abdominal pain, chest pain, back pain, vomiting, sweating, breathing troubles/ suffocation, shaking, feeling cold or hot(NO IN BETWEEN), I think it's worse than childbirth. It feels as though you have a heavy rock in a tiny tube that's being pulled on but also like your intestines are being squashed and twisted inside of you

This happened to my mum when I was really little it got worse and worse so eventually she had to get them removed and my dad took time off work to look after us all whilst my mum recovered

Keep a log of what you’re eating, certain foods will set it off more than others. I had mine out a few years ago and it was such a relief! Hopefully you’ll get it sorted soon!
