Postpartum anxiety

Hey yall, I’m 8 months postpartum and I’m still struggling with horrible anxiety. I’m not sure If it’s still my postpartum anxiety that I had after having my son or if this is different from that. I’m really struggling over here. From worrying about my kids just slipping to if they have the slightest cough I go into fight or flight mode. Any one else having this issue still? And if so what did you do to help? I have talked to multiple doctors and all they want to do is put me on medication, that’s my last resort and really want to try and remedy this with natural things that won’t have long term side effects.

So. Here is what helped me with my anxiety. The opposite of anxiety is not calm but trust. When you trust the process it helps reduce anxiety. So then I had to go through lots of cognitive behavioral therapy. But I found daily meditation, guided breathing exercises and a little safety prep when applicable helped reduce my anxiety. You’re not alone. YouTube some guided meditation or breathing and use them on walks, drives, even find kid ones and do them with your kids. Some people found weighted blankets helped them. But I worry my Littles will be hurt if they get under my weighted blankets.

I’m suffering from it as well, I breastfeed so I don’t want meds either. What has been helping me is exercise daily ( YouTube in my living room) and breathing and prayer has helped the most!

Have you had your labs checked specifically your hormones ? I would ask for my labs to be done Could be hormone issue ? Then if it is there is alot of options for supporting / regulating your hormones
