Talking
Hi looking for some friendly supportive advice - I suffered with quite bad anxiety when I first had my LG, focused around her weight as we had a tricky start to feeding … I got much better and my LG turned 18mo yesterday and is doing well in all areas apart from talking … she’s babbling, points, interacts etc but isn’t really saying any words yet - I’m conscious of my anxiety creeping up and wondered if anyone else is still waiting for their May baby to talk yet? TIA xx

My LG wasn't babbling last week but she suddenly started the other day. She isnt waving or pointing yet and no words. Going to keep waiting and prompting and ask my HV if she still isn't after 20 months I think just to get some advice. Its hard waiting though isn't it, I can't wait until she starts saying words.

Try not to worry yet. My boy doesn’t talk, babble or point and although he’s under salt they’ve told me they don’t like to massively get involved until 2 years because that’s when it starts to become more of a worry
