What are you here for?

I thought I needed more friends but turns out I need to vent and have people actually listen and give me their perspectives.

I needed some friends close to my area so we could have walks in the park with our babies but turns out everyone will find excuses not to meet like for example asking me: “How do I know you are who you say? Give me your instagram, Facebook. I want to search you first so I can be convinced you say who you are 😒😒. Or I will contact you when can we meet cause I have some relatives at home now. And this never happens…” So after being disappointed a lot on this aspect and given up now I use it as a support group

@Imelda I’m sorry you’re experiencing this if we were local to each other I wouldn’t mind meeting up! Hopefully this changes for you.

Originally I had hoped to make friends but no conversations lead anywhere if someone even responds past "how are you?" It's really hard to make a conversation work on this app for some reason - plus I suck at small talk. Now I just use it as another social media platform to pass the time. I'll comment on things here and there.

Originally to make friends but I realised Im shit at it so I just do polls and stuff lol

@Khy would be nice to be local 😊. not keeping my hopes up. As @Kelli said is very difficult to make conversations work on this app

@Kelli agreed it’s hard making a virtual connection especially with how busy everyone is so its understandable just wish there was a way to help make a spark stick enough to build meaningful connections. I hope you eventually find someone to make that happen with!

The gossip and rants

I’ve found it really hard so I have given up. Most of the moms on here are sahm and I work. My husband works a lot on the weekends so I have time on the weekends but the weekends don’t seem to be good for them.

@Veronique I think you should probably try to schedule ahead with some of the moms if you can try to work around each others schedules and go from there. I’m sorry it’s been hard for you
