I did lasagne, as well as the spag bol, meatballs, made up some burger patties. I was going to do chilli and curry but they said limit spice if intending to breast feed.
I made some Mexican chicken and some sausage and porcini ragu. Planning on cooking more asap bcs I fear we might eat it all soon haha
Taming Twins has got some good recipes - https://www.tamingtwins.com/slow-cooker-dump-bag-recipes/ - our NCT lead also said remember to do some sweets! Brownies freeze easily and can be warmed up in the microwave, for example 😊
I was going to do a soup, good for lunches when you're own your own, meatballs in a tomato sauce and some sort of Lentil Dahl maybe. Things I can get lots of veggies and protein in to keep us going. Already got Spaghetti bolognese in the freezer and my friend is making us a chicken pie 🥰
Hungarian Goulash ! Chilli con carne . Soups !
Pulled pork, meats that can be cut up & portioned, curries, sweet & sour chicken (I've done all you already mentioned, with the above to add) x
I've made curry's, lasagne, pasta bake , casserole, chilli, corned beef hash, shepherds pie.
Thanks ladies, will get cracking on with your suggestions. See what the child would like to have too haha xx
If you’re doing any kind of wish / gift list, those Cook meals come recommended, and I think they do bundles which include kids meals too x
Following!! Which containers do you use to store ? @Kerry
@Mari honestly, old takeaway containers 🙈😂 but im thinking of getting the bigger foil containers so that we can fit more on with there being 3 of us. Then its all together and can just easily gotten out the freezer etc ☺️
Recently I made some chicken parmigiana and made extra and froze the breaded chicken and sauce. It then meant I only had to cook the chicken and pasta with it all prepped. It worked quite well! I also tend to freeze chilli, curries, shepherds pie, chicken pies.
