Baby dropped

Hey girls, I am 36 weeks and it’s official my baby dropped into my pelvis! For me, it is extremely painful. Any suggestions to help relieve some of the pain. OB said my cervix is at a two and to have bags packed. 😬

How did you know baby dropped?

I wanna know too

My OB did a cervix exam

@Meenakshi @Dien you can feel and see it, my baby dropped pretty early and acid reflux slowing down, a noticeable space between baby and my ribs, my sciatica isn’t as bad, and I don’t get as winded are a few of the things I noticed along with having some period like cramps when their head nestles in the pelvic

Yes, it’s so nice to not have acid reflux anymore & to breathe a bit more easily! Still hoping mine stays put for at least 2 more weeks, though!

This found me at the perfect time. I’m 36 weeks too & I don’t know if hes dropped since my frame is so small but I’m definitely in pain as well 😭 we got this momma ❤️

@Meenakshi it can be physically noticeable if you can grab your hand and push inwards in the gap in between your boobs & stomach because the baby will be lower so he won’t be sitting as high up. It’s not always noticeable though since every pregnancy is different. *** Keep in mind that your baby doesn’t need to drop in order for labor to be around the corner!! - my nurses told me so***
