Two c section scars

I just noticed my surgeon didn’t cut through my original scar and now I have two c section scars. Is this normal? I was always under the impression they go through the same incision…

I’ve heard the scar tissue can cause more complications so maybe that’s why they don’t?

@Ashley possibly? I’m just surprised as always been told cut over the same scar and my surgeon said everything was uncomplicated and looked good in there!

Had 3 c sections and only 1 Scar, they removed the scar tissue from Previous sections.

@Alicia no I only noticed it today 2 weeks after my surgery! I have an appointment with midwife tomorrow and I’m going to ask. The cut starts and finished in the same place but goes lower in the middle so it’s kind of the same scar but not?
