This was happening to me around weeks 34-35 I had about 12 days of contractions that just seemed to never end (they piggybacked I think it’s called rolling contractions) for at least 30% of each day of not 60 but I wasn’t dilating anymore or effaced & baby was ok when we went in for monitoring & then it just stopped- they think I was in early labour that was stalled bc of extreme stress (found out I’m losing my insurance right on week of due date & can’t transfer to a new one until the old one ends plus a lot of other slightly less dire things & some very tense home situations with in-laws who are staying with us until February - apparently that can stall labour & even close back up cervix)
Since then I’ve only had contractions here and there definitely not as constant or consistent as before
I'm also a couple days overdue, but I've lost my mucus plug 4 times, and it just keeps growing back. I've had really bad contractions for the past 4.5 weeks to the point we were like just make it 37 weeks. Well, now we are 40+2, and baby #3 is comfortable!
