C-Section
Evening all, ive been booked in for a c section later this week (due to medical reasons and restricted growth) .. I’ve been told to be at the hospital for 6:45 am and that I will be first in as having to fast the night before …. What time does that mean you usually go in for the section ? Only asking as forgot as the hospital and want to no if my partner will have time to take our children to school and get to the hospital for 9:30 ish … or would that be pushing it and should I sort alternative childcare ?
Thanks all. I no each hospital is different I’m having baby at the John Radcliffe in Oxford if that’s any help.

I was told to be there for 7am, I think the first time slot was 9ish, I was last on the morning list though and went down at 12 x

My C-section is scheduled for 2 hours after arrival and in the past any surgery I’ve had has been the same, give or take 30 minutes maybe… so I feel like that would be pushing it for you personally and if it was me I’d schedule alternate childcare just so I don’t have extra stress that day
