Pain in neck and base of skull

I’m going to call my midwife about this tomorrow, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone else has had anything similar to me. I’ve been having this really painful neck pain that feels like a nerve pain and it comes on most days now. It seems to happen all of a sudden and then won’t go for hour(s). It’s to the point that I can’t do anything but rest. I’m also getting a similar pain at the base of my skull quite often which turns into headaches. I’m wondering if it could be pressure on my spine that’s causing it, but just wondered if anyone else has experienced this? I’m just over 17 weeks.
