Can cramps indicate start of labour?

I had those last Saturday, just took it as Braxton hicks x

I’ve had strong period cramps every day for the last week and a half and defo not gone into labour yet🥲 they make me feel hot and sick but they tend to disappear after a few hours, I’m 36+4 x

Mine started that way but git stinger throughout the day. I get alot of Brixton hicks this time round and I keep getting gassy belly which gives me period like pains and I'm sitting here lime okay let's just see where it goes lol

My last labour started with what felt like period pains, I knew it was Labour as when I went to the loo I had lost my mucas plug and the cramps/contractions began to form a pattern and increased in intensity! This time around I am on edge every time I feel a cramp though hahaha
