Changing hospitals

How easy/difficult is it to change hospitals? After reading reviews of Northwick Park I would like to switch.. does anyone have advice on this? When is the best time to do this?

Very easy I would go as soon as you can sis I changed when I was 3 months just before my gender scan due to my aunty actually passing away in the maternity ward their because of their lack of care. Just book an appointment with another antenatal team. I would recommend UCLH all the way. They were sooo much better than NWPK and are much more professional and caring.

I switched from nwp to Hillingdon at 36 weeks pregnant 3 years ago. I had to have my bloods taken again and a booking appt but I’m glad I did do it! Now I’m not sure there’s much in it but back then nwp was inadequate for maternity and Hillingdon was good. I may be wrong but I think they’re more levelled out (Hillingdon has got worse and nwp has got slightly better)

I would recommend Watford if you drive. Both Hillingdon and Norwick seem to have bad reviews for the maternity. I am currently attending Watford for my antenatal and giving birth there next week.
