Pregnant after Csection

Hello, I recently lost my baby full term at 38 weeks. His heart stopped beating 4 days before we were due to deliver him. I had a traumatic first birth (ending in csection) and wasn't mentally prepared to deliver him sleeping so opted for a csection again. How soon can I get pregnant again? I understand the pros of waiting etc and nhs guidance varying depending who you speak to, being from 6-18 months. Has anyone had any direct experience getting pregnant early after a Csection? Thank you đź’ś

Sooooooo sorry to read this. I hope you get your rainbow baby 🤍

i would say 8 months xx

give yourself the time to mentally recover too

I lost my baby 30 minutes after birth after emergency section and we really wanted to try again, we waited 6 months and I had a positive pregnancy test at 8 months and I’ve had no issues I’m currently 16 weeks and midwife was never concerned or said anything about this time frame x

@Sophie congratulations! Such wonderful news. Sending love to you and your family đź’ś

@Marnie I hope we both get the outcome we want❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss, I’m sending you so much love at this sad time. I had a c-section and got pregnant again 9 months later baby is almost exactly 18 months younger than my first xx
