You can literally get everything next day so I wouldn’t worry but I would at least get the car seat now 😂 x

Both mamas and papas and John Lewis offer discounts if you have a shopping for baby appt with them. We went for a travel system bundle with a joolz hub2 and cybex cloud t car seat and base, John Lewis had another bundle discount

I’d get it now as you never know with deliveries. We got ours a couple of months ago from John Lewis. If you book one of their baby appointments you get a really good discount. We went for the maxi cosi pebble pro 360 car seat and the uppababy vista V3 pram and love them! Also, if you have a dog it’s best to get the pram in advance so you can do practice pram walks with the pup and help them learn to walk nicely alongside baby

It's the Black Friday sales soon so it might be worth waiting and seeing if you can get what you want on discount somewhere! That's what we're planning to do 🙏🏼 x

Depends where you’re buying from! There was a 9 week delivery for mine from mamas and papas, and even then they messed it up and it didn’t come until 2 weeks after that. That was for the travel system and car seat. But like others have said you can pretty much get things the next day if you aren’t precious about specific ones. My friend sent me a pic of a car seat she found in Costco! Xx

I'm waiting for black Friday and my baby shower is 7th Dec but like you said, I feel I want to be all prepared before then!! But don't want to end up with lots of duplicates 🙈 I'll probably buy all the big things in the next few weeks though x

We ordered ours from mamas and papas in August and it was delivered late October. That may have been as we ordered everything together to be fair, and I think the rocking chair had a long lead time. We used the buying for baby appointment and got a voucher to spend in store once it was all delivered. We've got cats so I also wanted some time for them to get used to the new things in the house before they're associated with a screaming intruder 🤣

@Sam it’s been super handy for us! We just do like 15 mins every couple of days with the dog and some high value treats and she’s adjusted so well! Def worth doing. Also a note if you order from John Lewis we got all of our stuff within a week or two, but it’s worth bearing in mind the closer it comes to the Christmas period the longer some deliveries will take

@Alexandra Thank you! We have a one year old puppy so we are trying to get him to adjust as much as possible around the house but hadn’t thought about walks! That’s a good point, thank you. I have a John Lewis appointment booked now so fingers crossed we can get the pram and car seat asap 🤞🏼x

@Louise, I recently had my baby shower and requested 'no boxed gifts.' I explained to my guest that we’d prefer cards, cash, or vouchers instead. The idea is to avoid ending up with baby gifts that might go unused or duplicates. This approach is simply more practical and flexible 😊

Mine was a 12 week wait and we ordered it in October from Mamas and Papas! Id think about ordering now as i had no idea there would even be a wait xx

We've ordered ours from the Discount Pram Centre and they have a three to four week wait for deliveries. They've got some lovely stuff and should be able to sort you out if you find other delivery windows a bit slow. You also get a voucher for a 4D Scan included in the price with them which is a nice bonus Xx
