metoclopramide
anyone else been prescribed metoclopramide for sickness? i’ve been prescribed it today as well as bed rest due to not being able to eat or manage fluids and wondering it anyone felt it benefitted them? i had really bad sickness with my first but i didn’t need to take anything for it😪

Yes I did but was triggering my IBS, went to ondansetron and I’ve been on that for a few weeks!
@Helen i have constant nausea too but started throwing up and couldn’t keep a thing down, gp somewhat comforted me saying there’s more known risks to the baby by starving than there is about the medicine. i took them for about 3 days and found they didn’t help😂
@Casey has that been beneficial to you? i’ve had to stop taking the metoclopramide as it’s just making me feel worse😮💨

Yes, I was also prescribed this today! Praying it helps! Am 14 weeks and although I'm not being sick, I have constant nausea all day every day and it was getting me down. I'm worried about taking tablets for baby but also worried about carrying on as I am.
