Bd called the police while at work

My bd who lives with us called to police to come check home while at work because I refuse to pick his calls since yesterday due to big fight we had two days ago. Baby was constipated yesterday and he said to be too worried. I am questioning my sanity now, should he has called the police just because I don’t pick his calls?

If the both of you were texting and communicating in some way giving updates about the baby since your fight, yes it’s a little excessive of him to call the police. If there was absolutely no communication then it’s not too unusual, there’s been one too many Amber Alerts and news stories that he may felt paranoid to ignore. The both of you may need to talk it out if the fight is still impacting your co-parenting, but I would gather yourself first, I’m sure it was scary and stressful having the police showing up

But I will say if he still called the police even after y’all were giving each other updates about the baby, that’s a red flag and please be safe

No. That’s not normal. People are allowed to have fights and take space. The police shouldn’t have been called and he’s escalating things to an attention seeker. This is a red flag

Gosh no, that is not normal. Just because you didn’t answer his calls? He sounds controlling. He’s wasting police time.

Dedends on the situation. I feel that being an adult I would say I dont want to talk and need to be left alone right now and then not answer him afterwards. So it depends was he trying to call not knowing he being ignored because of the fight and was genuinely worried or was he well aware you needed space and he just wanted to escalate the issue for attention

Idk I don’t get along with my sister but I’ve called the police to do a well check on here simply because I wanted to know that she was alive and well cuz she doesn’t always answer calls and texts.
