Home birth

I’m thinking of a birthing center. Which is like the middle ground between home birth and hospital. My partner is a little more apprehensive about it though xx

I’m planning home birth! Love the midwife team that I have and really enjoy having my appointments at home Especially since every time I go for an ultrasound at the hospital I feel like I get sick

I'm also planning a home birth for my 1st baby. Looking forward to being at home in my own environment. The 2nd option is birth centre for me. I'm not a fan of hospitals and love the fact that my appointments are at home too. Plus, even if I end up going into hospital, the home birth team will keep me on their team for postnatal care.

@Natalie birth centre was our plan last time but it was shut due to staffing issues, we were definitely more apprehensive about home birth last time but having experience labour ward and then the post natal ward, I’d really just like to stay home this time 😅X

Nope, unfortunately had a pph and mrop with my first so would definitely not consider a home birth even though hospital is very close to home! Those minutes count sometimes. Would definitely want to be home ASAP after birth though. 😊

I home birthed my second baby and intend to home birth my last baby fingers crossed
