C Section Recovery

Hi all! So I had an emergency c section on 13th October for our beautiful boy. Obviously he’s just over a month now. Just wondering how everyone else healed? I only really took painkillers the first week at home and then stopped. I felt like I’ve done pretty well recovery wise and feel happy to drive now though I’m trying not to unless necessary for the full 6 weeks. I’ve started doing more walking and house stuff this past week so I’m thinking the pain is down to that but I’ve got a sore stomach - I don’t mean my incision - my actual tummy feels a bit sore? It felt numb initially lower down but now if I scratch/touch that area it’s a bit sensitive now the feelings coming back (lower tummy but not my scar). Is that normal? I don’t even know what I’d say to the doctors lol. It sounds ridiculous how I’m trying to explain myself! Maybe I’m just doing too much I’m not sure! My legs also ache a bit (not like a dvt pain/heat/swelling) but just generally like I’ve done too much? Wondered if anyone had similar experiences really! Thank you!

I think it’s your nerves coming back! All the nerve endings are cut during the c section! Take it really easy!! Even if u feel good still rest think u just over did it

I had the exact same experience around 4 weeks post cesarean, it’s gone away now though at 8 weeks. I think nerves coming back and being more mobile is what caused it for me x

Yes, lower down aches and pains are normal. I also had a few months where I would get a night or two of painful nausea, which we never found the reason why, but it passed. I also found that I couldn't do pants that compressed my stomach, like jeans, for a good long while (like 3-4 months), then I decided fuck 'em. 😂 I feel fine but now I just live in leggings.

It's quite normal don't worry it will pass I had that too.
