Binder for the Everyplate recipe cards that come home w my box of ingredients. Others I have a bunch of recipe books that I bought, and online ones I bookmark them in a folder called Recipes.
If I ever remember to write anything down it’s always somewhere random but growing up we had rolladecks with tabbed sections —- & recently we ended up with one of mil notebooks full of recipes
One note
I need to organize it better and have them all in one spot
@Lesya I have the rolladecks but when I get online recipes I have to write them down and it’s hard to share with others.
I'm old school and have a recipe box with cards. I use pinterest to initially save any new recipes I see online and then if we like it and think we'll make it again I write it down.
I have a binder where I’ve printed out some of our favorites but honestly I have all the links to my favorite recipes on a note in my phone and that’s usually where I look
@Rachel oh good idea with Pinterest.
@Sierra I may have to keep notes in my phone with links. Maybe I’ll make a table or something to keep it organized.
A binder with paper sleeves to protect the paper. I also have a pencil case that connects in the binder, and i put my recipes on index cards in that.
@Irene you sound so organized. Love it!
@Jem oh I see what you mean! When I said the Rolodex I meant like they bought a Rolodex that was empty and they would write in the blank cards and sometimes we would cut out a piece of paper that was the same size as the other cards and then punch holes in it so it would fit in the Rolodex so that was all handwritten stuff Just not in a notebook or binder or something
@Jem i feel like im far from organized, but im trying lol. Honestly though, the way i keep my recipes is helpful. I have a dry erase marker in the binder in case i want to make quick notes over the clear paper sleeve. My plan is to put all my recipes in a book from shutterfly... so that my kids can have them. Def clear sleeve protectors though... I've had to re write recipes bc i would get the paper dirty from cooking lol.
I use a recipe book or recipe card. Type them out and post it immediately on my website for sale. But when I'm not selling them. They are kept in a recipe book
I bought a 3 ring binder and clear protective sheets. I print the recipe and put it in the binder for easy/fast access. I also use the delish website a lot, so I save those recipes online.
