Hey lovely, If you ever need anyone to talk to please feel free to message me,I’m 22 and due my first baby end of January x
I questioned myself the same when I was thinking to have one,but then I realised it’s not going to be easy to get those people together at once plus they were a bit disconnected since I got pregnant as everyone is in another place in their lives, at different stages. I am sure who really cares about how you feel will be part of your journey one way or another. Sending you good wishes.
Sorry to hear that. I haven't really had this myself as I'm in my 30s so most of my friends have babies or are used to friends having kids.. but I have heard that often friends can sometimes find it difficult when they're at different stages in life. All of my friends have had baby showers organised by a friend, but no one did one for me...which I do feel a bit saddened by but at the same time, I'm not fussed by a baby shower. Try and make the most of the baby shower and focus on who is there, not who isn't. Are you planning to go to antenatal classes or tried meeting pregnant women in your area? This might help if you want to meet new people. You will also meet people at baby classes etc once your baby is here.
