48 hrs post C-section and the gas pains are killing me😭
1 week post and feeling way better! I still have to get up slow, but I can walk! And do the things I need to, feeling a bit more myself.
4 days post. Just got back from hospital today. I am able to move better and walk around more so that I could situate things at home. Still sore though. Breaks are needed and still struggling on and off with gas.
6 days post. Still pretty sore, but I feel more mobile than I did with my first. Have to keep reminding myself to take things easy as I get over-confident in some movements. Feeling a cough or sneeze coming always makes me nervous. My oldest is not a fan of doctor's orders not to pick her up. Poor thing just wants cuddles all the time.
10 days pp and feeling so much better. I can get up out of bed without too bad of pain now. The gas pains are still killer but got some gas x to help.
3 weeks 6 days post c section and I feel a little nerve pain but I can stand it. Still have a little bit of gas pains but other than that I'm feeling ok.
I've been lucky! This was my second c-section, and I'm already moving around pretty normally. There's one day I overdid it with sorting and folding clothes and organizing other things. I did nothing the next day. Lol. Some of the glue from my incision has come off. I see the surgeon in 2 days for a follow-up.
@Faith they gave me gas x in the hospital to make the gas bubbles smaller and easier to pass.
I’m a single mom so I didn’t have a choice but to lift the car seat and do things etc but I haven’t been driving myself. I feel really good but I did recover faster than most people and I think it’s bc I’ve had a major surgery before maybe so my body was prepared for it? (Even though I didn’t plan on a c section) Going out of the house is still super rough. I get headaches and everything starts hurting and I get super grumpy just wanting to go home. Def get overstimulated (esp if I got to like 3 grocery stores in a row instead of 1 or like if I go into target when it’s their busy time and they’re packed)
@Carly ugh I so feel for you, I had my first baby almost 10yrs ago and I was a single mom then, that ended up being a c section and it was so hard to recover from, I hope you have some family or friends to help you out a little bit ♥️
I’m 10 days postpartum and I’m feeling a little better however, haven’t really had much help so I’ve had to do things on my own, I’m grateful to be feeling better but I know I still have to take it easy. I haven’t driven myself yet but my doctor said I could drive in a couple weeks which is good. We got this though 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
i’m exhaustedddd lol
