I have definitely found this, all I am feeling now is the occasional roll of a foot or hand and always in the same position! I’ve been told all movement counts even if it feels subtle but it shouldn’t decrease, so definitely don’t hesitate to ring and get checked out if you’re anxious. Also in the same boat with a small percentile baby, best of luck for the next couple of weeks 🩷
@Kelly my baby has also been like this throughout really. Active days followed by quiet ones. However I can’t shake the anxiety on the quiet days 😔 I came in for monitoring and he was really rolling round on there! It’s good to know he’s fine but so frustrating to just not manage to get him to move much at all at home 😮💨
@Fionnuala Donald that’s good to know. He’s gone crazy on the monitor so maybe he was just comfy and not wanting to move much. Movements unfortunately did decrease as well, as in time of days he usually moved he wasn’t today or yesterday. It’s so confusing really. I hate the anxiety of it all! Good luck to you as well with your small baby etc x
My movements are definitely different as baby tends to be ‘facing in’ so it’s not so much kicks and hands but rather head pressure, back and bum, so lots of rolling in specific areas but definitely more isolated to my right hand side x
Yea it is hard not to be anxious, I always give it half a day and she usually picks up! A cup of tea or a sugary drink usually get her moving too. Struggle on days when I'm more busy too cos I don't feel the movements as much when I'm moving around a lot x
My baby has always been like this so I think I've worried less because that's her normal. But any changes always ring or go in to be checked, especially these last two weeks 😘
