Too soon?

Hi, last pregnancy I started getting a bit sick week 6 & was off work by week 8. This time round I’m literally 5 weeks and the nausea (no sickness yet) has arrived with a constant bang. Which is unexpected & I am a bit gutted and feeling a bit low. My questions is how soon do I contact the GP? Do I need to get worse or do I try and get ahead of it? Thanks!

Get ahead of it I say. Get on something that will help you get by day to day, there are no heroes. If you had it before they say likely worse second time round. I’m 26 weeks and still on Xonvea, absolute life saver

Second pregnancy I had nausea before I even took a pregnancy test (which I did on day period was due). Go to GP straight away and they should give you something. I ended up on Xonvea after trying a few others and it has really helped. Still on it at nearly 18 weeks x

Definitely get ahead of it! Managing HG is much better/m and healthier than treating it if that makes sense

The reason why I took a pregnancy test was because I had vomited and felt rrly nausea days after. I think I was about 5 weeks when the HG hit

Thanks all, Called today & been prescribed Xonvea- fingers crossed it’s as good as I see people describing!
