@Alyson thanks for the advice. I’m sorry you going thru what I’m going thru. Honestly I think I’ll go see the orthopedic doctor instead because I don’t want to become addicted to the pain meds so I’d rather just find a permanent solution instead of a temporary one
@Britney Cayo that’s exactly what I did. The pain management doctor was quick to try and prescribe pain meds and I was like nope. Let’s try the injection first. Unfortunately the first one didn’t work, so we’ll see
Epidural destroyed my back but that’s besides the point. I do have two herniated disks in my back right now causing sciatica. Trust me. I get the pain. It’s affecting my every day life. I got an epidural injection, and it didn’t work. I’m about to go for my second injection in a couple weeks. I recommend first going to ur primary care. They will probably give you steroids, and a muscle relaxer (atleast that’s what they do here). If that works amazing. If it doesn’t go to an orthopedic doctor/pain management.
