Acid reflux and trying bm
Hi! So my little one has acid reflux, like severe acid reflux. We’ve tried every formula and are now on meds. My mom brought up the possibility of bm helping. Only issue is my supply already dried up. Has any had any luck with bm helping acid reflux and how do I get my supply back??? (Please no judgement on why we chose to formula feed. My medical team and I thought it was best due to a chronic illness I have) pic of my sweet angel attached

Hi! We had a strong experience with reflux, I didn't have a supply, my milk never came after trying it all and doing several formulas we started Donor's milk and yes, it's the only thing that actually helped my baby with Acid Reflux. She does half BM and half HiPP A.R. and she has been much much much better
@Manuela awesome!!! I’m waiting to be approved for HM4HB for my area to try donor milk, I’m gonna attempt to get my supply back in if she does okay!

@Deborah we’ve tried this, neocate, and PurAmino, as well as Nutramigen and Alimentum. When I say we’ve tried every formula, I literally mean every one…. The only one she can tolerate, and I say tolerate loosely because she still has to be on meds to be able to semi tolerate it, is Total Comfort. Every other formula made things a thousand times worse. To the point she would not have a bowel movement at all, inconsolable screaming to the point she would turn purple, projectile vomitting every single bottle, and then refused the bottle all together…. We’ve literally tried everything except breast milk. Which was the point of this post.
