Hi mamas! Question on gripe water / calpol. How are finding giving these to our babies without them choking , crying and getting upset? we’ve tried syringe, spoon for the gripe water. If we give it slow she spits it out , quick she chokes

What gripe water are you using? The ones from the supermarket have E colourings in them 🙈. And calpol does as well. Gripe water im sure we just added to her milk Calpol was difficult when she was wee, we tried everything (using the teat of her bottle, cup, spoons, different syrnges etc) so not got much advice for that she just eventually got better at accepting it Point the syringe to inside of her cheek (not to back of mouth) and it should trickle down inside of her gums and down throat and so much harder to spit out

Yeah the nurses gave immunisation drops inside his cheeks and squeezed his cheeks gently to get him to swallow little by little.
