I’m debating on making a carrot cake myself, the cupcakes sound good! What icing are you thinking ?

@Jaylyn on the lemon and vanilla I usually do 50/50 vanilla and chocolate and on the strawberry I do strawberry lol I make the icing too so I’m not sure if I feel like do the brownies

@Jaylyn Ive never had carrot cake cause I’m allergic to nuts but it’s my husbands favorite

@Daija lol I’ve been watching YouTube videos just to get a simple nice decorated cake. I may try it for Christmas but I don’t want to waste money making frosting so I might try using the dollar frosting lol

@Jem that’s smart I thought I was gonna go something piping my cupcakes the whole damn bag burst and icing went everywhere 😭

I make my own frosting & extremely light & Fluffy! It's just heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, & sugar. Whip 3cups of heavy whipping cream, 1 cup of sugar or Powdered sugar, & 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Adjust it to your taste. Sometimes I use less or more sugar & switch out vanilla extract with almond extract depending on what I'm using the whipped frosting for

I have different icing recipes that'd id love to share just ask lol

@Sierra this is good to know. I’ve seen the recipes for butter cream but haven’t seen the heavy cream as of yet.

@Jem i love buttercream but this one is just quicker & I can literally eat it like ice cream or with Friuts. I use this one when I bake for older people or kids & just use less sugar. They love it!

@Sierra I’ll have to try this I always do buttercream but it’s so delicate especially when doing chocolate icing
