Pah! I could not live without my morning coffee! I commute every day! It’s a necessity 😵‍💫 I only have one a day! Don’t drink smoke or do drugs..I will not deny myself my coffee 🤓

I’m really surprised your midwife said that because that’s not the guidance… I would just go by the NHS

I always find Tommy's really good for advice like this. They tend to go into more detail than the NHS and include the latest research. Although you can have up to 200mg a day, the advice is to limit as much as possible. https://www.tommys.org/pregnancy-information/calculators-tools-resources/check-your-caffeine-intake-pregnancy

Had it first time around and everything was fine continued having it with my second and still everything fine but it really depends on the person

I'm sticking to my 2 or 3 cups a day, new research has found it to be quite different to what they believed previously https://www.uq.edu.au/news/article/2024/10/coffee-during-pregnancy-safe-baby%E2%80%99s-brain-development
