Back ache 😣

My back ache has become such a severe pain I have tried everything to ease it but nothing is working is it worth speaking to my doctor or midwife to see if they can help with either something that’s not paracetamol but is still safe or even some stretches or something to help ? X

If you speak to your midwife I think they can make a referral to a physio xx

Hey, I have been struggling with my lower back recently and I really recommend this hot water bottle strap off Amazon! A lot of people buy it for period pains but I just wear it the other way around and it’s so nice on my back

Hi Hun is it more your upper or lower back? I might have a few stretches and yoga poses I can recommend - it's the only thing helping mine x

Hiya, I’m on week 4 of severe coccyx pain so completely relate! My doctor put me on Codeine and Paracetamol, I’ll be honest it’s not made much difference 😞 Codeine just makes me even more tired! I’ve been told getting on all fours and slowly rocking back and forth is helpful? Not been brave enough to try that one yet, pretty sure I’ll just be stuck there forever 😂

@Kaya hey kind of both if I’m honest xx

@Shannen hey yeah I have the same one I’ve tried but it’s honestly not helping anything even Brent getting my partner to give me back massages and that usually helps but isn’t xx

@Hannah I don’t have a contact for my midwife and don’t have another appointment until the 10th December xx

@Cheyenne so sorry lovely. It’s awful when suffering in pregnancy as you can’t take anything can you, so frustrating. When my lower back was killing I’m sure the midwife said she can refer me for physio. How are you feeling now? I used to do Pilates pre pregnancy and now I’ve stopped I’m starting to get sore

@Shannen thank you and it is and honestly it is still so horrific found certain positions to lay in at night after a while can help ease a little but it’s still so painful xx

@Cheyenne bless you! Have you got one of those big pregnancy pillows?? Have you tried talking to doctor or midwife? Tell them they need to help you and you’re not sleeping. Hope you start to feel a bit brighter soon 🤍 keep having nice hot baths. My sister struggled real bad with her back and she ended up using ibuprofen gel because she was at her wits end. (Not recommending)

There are some good pregnancy back pain yoga or Pilates videos on YouTube. I’ve been using them to help fix my agonising lower back pain.

@Shannen thank you and going to call my doctor Monday hopefully they can help x

@Emma thank you x
