All of the above sound good :)! I would add to ask about: Daily routine (naps, food, bottles) The balance between free flow play and structured activities and is the outside space accessible all year round (if this is important to you) Do they have any example weekly food menus Do they follow eyfs What is there settling process like What you have to provide (e.g formula, nappies etc) If they don’t offer I would ask to see the other nursery rooms too that your child might move into if they stay with them for a long period of time Xx
@Molly thanks, can you confirm what eyfs is? Thanks
@Jenny it’s the early years foundation stages framework. Some nurseries will follow it but some will do their own framework. Might not be important to you (wasn’t to me when my first was younger) but good to know for when they are getting a bit older xx

Ask how they deal with behaviour e.g smacking, bullying, etc What activities do they provide, at each stage of your child’s development journey. Ask about security, what level are the workers trained to plus First Aid Training etc Do the kids go to local community outings : trips and how is this run ? What initiatives do they follow at the Nursery e.g some incorporate recycling schemes, or compost initiatives etc I hope this helps x
