Do you ever feel…

Do you ever feel you are no one favourite person. Like you are just simply there. No one is excited to see you. No one laughs when you speak. No one is generally excited with you as a person. The only person who really loves being around me is my daughter. And she is 2 😭😂 tbh she is my favourite person too. But I feel like I have no friends and feel pretty isolated. I feel like when I meet new people I am so in my head about not being weird or hated that I come across as not the best. Just want to be surrounded by people who get me and I feel like are my people. Instead of a weirdo all the time

I'm so sorry you feel this way. Being a parent is super hard, especially the isolation element... I'm sorry to hear you don't feel like you're anyone's favourite person... The world has changed so much since COVID & I feel like a lot of people are either in their own head, or they just want to stick to their pre-known friendships. ALL of my friendships have changed since the pandemic & me having kids or them having kids. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Unfortunately it's the passage of time & the stresses of life constantly pulling us all in different directions. But you should keep trying to put yourself out there, to meet people & give different groups a go if you can... I've felt knocked back/ghosted/ignored by others countless times, and although it hurts I'm still trying to put myself out there because I hate being lonely & feeling like I'm lacking in human connections. Stay strong Mama & I'm sure you'll find those connections at some point. Big hugs 🤗 x

I want to hug you:) you are not alone.

Yes. I do. But I’m going to keep trying to get out there. So many people relate and are looking for their favourites too. Just be yourself and trust that someone will love you for who you are.

Yes. I feel very much the same. Just means that we need to keep looking for our people who love, care for, and genuinely support us. Feel free to message me if you ever want. 🤗
