vitamin drops

I used to put the drops in a little bit of his milk

I’m sure these have to be mixed into something

I put 5ml in his morning bottle and give it a little swirl around! X

In Thier juice or milk in the morning

My boy is on a few different meds as he was premature . I give him the multi vits in a syringe as he won’t drink the milk if they’re in it as they’re quite acidic tasting- everything else he has in milk. So I pop the syringe down the side of his cheek towards the back of the mouth and squeeze it in bit by bit and swap sides. It’s not fun for either of us but then I know he’s had it and then he gets lovely milk immediately after :) it’s how they showed us in hospital and it’s over quickly . If you can get your baby to take it in milk it would be nicer but if you have a similar problem to me that works too

@Lauren I know the feeling I've only just stop using syringe for milk. he seems to have issues with milk and would only drink 60mls and give up thats why gp told us to give him drops. I feel mean but I feel like I was doing my best to make sure he was having some kind of feed but mean at same time.
