Rolling over

My LO rolled over at least twice when she was 2 months. But she hasn't even tried since then. Not sure what happened? She meets or exceeds all her milestones otherwise. She rolls from side to side but not belly to back or vice versa. What can I do to encourage rolling over again?

Not as long, but son did 4 rolls right the week he turned 4 months and then stopped for a week and a half. I started doing assisted rolls when he got frustrated with tummy time. He finally rolled again on his own yesterday

At 2mo they were probably spontaneous rolls, now she is working on intentionally rolling. If she can get to her side from back or side from belly and vice versa it's likely she is getting stuck by her arm being in the wrong position. You can model and help her through it or just wait until she figures it out.

Does the fact that she HATES tummy time factor into anything? Lol she doesn't even try to roll over now. She just goes side to side. Maybe you're right and I need to help her? What do you recommend?

I put my baby in tummy time and then when he starts getting frustrated I would help him roll so that he understood he could get out of it. I'd help him roll and then leave him on the floor for a bit after unless he got really distressed. Most babies roll belly to back first because the position is easier and requires less effort since their likely already up on their arms. Back to belly isn't expected until later so I'd focus on belly to back rolling
