Potty training help
So my little boy does amazing with going to the potty for a wee and poo when he has nothing on his bottoms but as soon as I put pants or jogger bottoms on he forgets about the potty. How can I encourage him to go with something on.. he has no problem in pulling them down and if he does he asks for help but I just don’t get why he won’t go on the potty. Any advice is much appreciated!

Once my boy started wearing pants it took him a couple of days of accidents to get the gist he had to tell me he needed the potty. Hes really stubborn so if I ask him he would tell me no every single time. A year later we still say no when I ask but he hasn't had a daytime accident in 10 months (other than the odd naptime accident )
@Alison mine is the same I ask him if he needs to go and he will always say no and then wee himself! But without pants he will tell me mummy wee its so bizarre, I now tell him to go toilet I don’t ask and he’s done better today with pants on only 2 accidents as he was in the middle of doing something with me x

Maybe just try reminding him every hour until he gets the hang of it 😁 but its very intresting 😁
