Vaginal delivery : pelvic soreness

Girls , I delivered in 11/14, I am having soreness in my pelvic area and sometimes it’s difficult to move and walk , I can’t lay on my side in bed because it’s so uncomfortable/painful. Are you ladies experience similar symptoms 1 week postpartum? If so when can I expect relief ?

Yes! I did too it finally started to lift about week 2 I’m 17 days PP and it’s gone. I feel some stinging sometimes but no where near as bad

Yesssssss it got better two days ago

Yes! I delivered on 11/6 and it hurt so bad to turn sides in bed it lasted a few days for me! I’m in no pain now

Did you tear? How long was your labor? I had two drastically different labors and deliveries between my two. The first one was spontaneous and took 44 hours from start to finish, 2.5 of those were pushing. My second was an induction that only took 8.75 hours from start to finish, only 4 minutes of that was pushing. With my first I was so sore for a good week and I couldn’t pass a bowel movement pain free for 6 weeks. My second I was back to normal save for a little stinging by 3 days pp, and passed my first bowel movement painlessly 24 hours after delivery. The length of labor/delivery correlates to how much you’ll need to recover so just take it easy!

Me too !! I didn’t feel this pain right after delivery but once I got home and started sleeping in my bed I felt the pain and uncomfortableness. I had to start using me pregnancy pillow again to support and it helps. Now I’m about to be 2 weeks postpartum and it’s slowly getting better

I was told after leaving the hospital, that I should take tylenol every day for a while for pain relief.

Thank you ladies , @Elise 10 minutes 4 pushes 😫

@Elise no tear
