Exhausted

Why do I feel so guilty about being so tired. Usually so productive, up and about, but I genuinely have nothing left. Ive managed a shower today and back in bed already 😩 anyone else feeling like this? Wish it didn’t make me feel guilty

Yep me too, got the food shop off the doorstep and went back to bed, just can’t bring myself to do anything I need to do today!!

@Isobel it feels so frustrating doesn’t it! 😖 feel like there is so much to do but just cannot bring myself to get up and do any of it!

I’m so exhausted but can’t be in bed as have a 2 year old 🙈 I do try to sneak in a nap when he does though as there is no way I’d make it through the day without one 😂🙈x

@Kirsten oh gosh, I can’t imagine how hard that is! This is my first and only have to think about my dog 😅 hope you get some rest xx

I think you just get to a point where you have to stop & slow down and that’s ok, being pregnant is hard work.I spent the first week or so of my maternity leave just flying around doing stuff, getting up and out with my LG and then I was poorly and I just had to stop & slow down. We’ve had much more relaxing mornings and not really done much but it’s been nice to have a little bit of a break. Wish I could take myself off to bed sometimes for a nap, enjoy it whilst you can mama x

I feel the same, I always feel tired, all the weight on me makes me lazy and always feel to be in bed 😭

I’ve had to stop work earlier than I wanted to 😢 I’m soooo tired ALL the time it’s crazy!!!!

It is super frustrating and I regularly feel guilty for taking an afternoon nap even though I haven't done anything all day. We just need to remember that we are building a person microscopic piece by microscopic piece. If we were to actually see what we were doing physically and working on building that little person brick by brick all day, we would realise how much work actually goes into it and we wouldn't feel so guilty about being tired. Rest as much as you need to, Mama ❤️
