Am I being rude?

Is it rude to tell someone “I am really sorry but me and my partner have decided that we are limiting the amount of people who can hold the baby after he is born” Please explain in the comments x

I had my dad and his girlfriend come to the hospital and just look at the baby. They didn’t get to hold her either. They respected my wishes although I do wish I would have waited to bring her home. And been alone at the hospital

My mum and dad are coming to the hospital cos my mums my birthing partner along side my baby dad but other than our parents and siblings I don’t want anyone to hold him for at least a few weeks. With him being due mid December a lot of my family have said it’s selfish to not let them have a photo with him at Christmas

At the end of the day, your baby your rules. People can be upset about it but they should ultimately respect it
