Fissure

Has anyone experienced an anal fissure after c section? And had success at healing it? How long did it take. Been given proctcyl ointment . Xxx

Mine took a month to heal. However I have to keep on top or else it comes back. I'm 5m pp

I’m going to the drs on the 3rd I’m 5 months pp and hasn’t got any better 🥲

Unfortunately I have🫣 I’ve had it since 6w pp and i’m nearly 11w now but i didn’t find time to use the cream before for various reasons (stupid i know) so that’s why mine hasn’t been healing but now i’ve started using the cream properly it seems to be getting better? i think?😂i don’t know but fingers crossed we can all poop peacefully again soon🤞xx

@Em Rectogesic, although, if I put even the smallest bit too much on it gives me a super bad headache😫she did warn me of that, and dizziness too. I was supposed to be on a different one but they didn’t have it at that time so she gave me this one instead xxx

@Em lactulose, stool and patience. However if you can aim for a true squatting position as then everything is in line - it was advice I received from a nurse. Think of it like taking a dump in the forest 😅 I've not tried it yet as it's not excruciating yet 😕 Anusol wipes and the cream you insert
