I had period like cramping for 4 weeks before I was 4-5cm they got worse after I lost my mucus plug
Call Ob first. i’m having the same thing today but headed in because im also having pressure
My contractions were 10-15 mins apart and then I called L&D when they were 5 mins apart. They told me to come in since they were so close. My water didn’t break, they had to break it when I was about to start pushing. I was 38 weeks 6 days when I had my daughter!
Thank you @Andria
Right now my contractions are 11 minutes apart
Be sure to continue timing them! Mine were 10-15 mins for a few hours and then it was 5 mins and less very fast. I was 4 cm when I got to the hospital!
I am the hospital now. Btw i’m not a first time mom like @Andria my water didn’t break either. I’m 2cm and 50% effaced. Actively Working on getting this baby out today at 38 + 5
I am also not a first time mom. With my first, my contractions were 5 mins and less so they had me come in but I was only 1 cm so they had me walk around for a bit. Then I started to progress. My water broke around 6 cm or so I believe.
@Andria Im on the ball right now trying that first. Did walking help you at all?
Mine were like that for 3 days and then my water broke and they were instantly so intense I was trying not to push on the way to the hospital.
@JaKeisa @Andria I’m currently at the hospital and I’m 2 cm dilated they have me walking around for an hour and 30 minutes to see if it can progress. There is no way I’m going home though these contractions are painful 😖.
@Markeiysha i didn’t progress. i’m back home. i need to figure something out. walking didn’t help me at all
@JaKeisa Yes it did help! and the peanut ball helped! @Markeiysha good luck mama, you got this!!
@Andria i’m trying the medicine ball and walking ! i hope i have her tonight or tomorrow

@Markeiysha hey how you doing ??
@JaKeisa heyy I’m still at the hospital I’m 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced, I’m about to get pitocin soon my contractions are 2-5 minutes apart. Hopefully my baby will be here by tomorrow morning.
@Markeiysha good luck ! 🍀 ❤️
@JaKeisa thank you good luck to you as well
Those cramps ended up being labor for me at 38 weeks. Time them and see if they are consistent if you are full term. Go when they are 5 min apart. If you’re early, its best to call your OB and see what they want you to do.
