Bath after having section

I had a shower pretty much straight away but I waited 6 weeks for the bath as I didn’t wanna open it up, my midwife said you can have it from 4 weeks but only 10 mins max as you can soften the skin
6 weeks but I will wait until I get the all clear at my check up x
I waited 6 weeks and the day after I got an infection even though I showered beforehand think from the heat the scar opened up😭🤦🏼♀️ I would say check your scar if it looks like there are parts that are a different colour not quite closed off don’t risk it I found the best way to see is take a picture with flash!
My midwife told me 6 weeks. I’m literally counting down because I want one so badly!
I had one at 4 weeks but only a quick one. Probably depends on how you are healing I guess?
I’m dying to know the same! I’m going to be wait 6 weeks to be on the safe side as don’t want to delay the stitches dissolving. It will be worth it in the end!
