Daycare success versus home
Does anyone have any advice for what to do if your toddler is sitting on the potty at school and he actually pees but when he gets home, he refuses to even sit on the potty and just wets himself instead. And afterward says 'diaper' to me.
I feel like we are digressing at home and negating the success that daycare is having. Should we take a break if we can't get success on both sides?

👋😉 Hi @Cheryl Aww, this is common. I see this a lot in my coaching sessions with my consulting clients. It's common for kids to behave better & follow instructions when they're with a teacher, nanny, sitter, grandma. For some reason they strive harder for others. Home is always their safe place to be relaxed with to not have to "think" so much about bladder control. Mama is their loving, all accepting safety net. Mommy is a softie. 💗 Try to talk to your daycare helpers to ask them what they're doing differently and how they handle the potty training process that seems to be working so well for your child.
