Going back to college

Look into the different types of diagnostic imaging technicians (echo, ultrasound, MRI, etc.). They get paid about the same as nurses but have better hours and deal with less BS. They are also often treated with more respect by the general public.

@Genevieve exactly I changed my mind about nursing and started looking at X ray tech or surgical sterilizer for the utensils.

@Aryyy my best friend is an echocardiogram technician and she makes good money, has good work/life balance, and truly enjoys her job. But I never see these types of programs promoted to pre-health science students.
