Yes same here. I don’t think are doing it maliciously though, as they don’t have children so they probably don’t know what to say or might feel awkward. Or presume I’m busy now with baby stuff or have other priorities, so I’ve ended up reaching out to them
Don’t take it personal lovely. People without children often don’t realize how much we value a call or visit—they just assume we’re super busy and don’t think to reach out. I’d recommend connecting with other mums and checking out local playgroups. Wishing you all the best! ❤️
@Rameena so true, would really value it. Thank you, definitely looking forward to making new friends who are on the same journey with having a baby or have a baby 💕
@Shannen couple of them have kids themselves which i would have thought would mean I would see them more. I’ve tried reaching out a few times but when I get cancelled on multiple times it really hurts me as I’ve known them for such a long time and sad that it doesn’t feel the same. But at the same time having a baby is the perfect time to meet new friends x
Same here, two of my longer term friends have stopped showing interest very early on x
